The system & who it’s for
Velora is a drug-free, at-home micro-infusion system: a precision applicator that creates ultra-fine micro-channels in the scalp, plus a copper-peptide growth serum and a priming shampoo. Together they deliver clinically-studied actives directly to the follicle — where hair growth actually begins.
Both. The follicle biology behind thinning is the same regardless of gender, and Velora is formulated to work for all hair types and textures — straight, wavy, curly, or coily.
Velora is designed for thinning and early-to-moderate pattern hair loss, shedding, and reduced density. It works by reactivating follicles that are still alive but dormant — so results are best when you start earlier. It can’t regrow hair from follicles that are fully scarred or no longer present.
Avoid use on areas with active scalp infection, inflammation, open wounds, sunburn, or active acne, and if you’re prone to keloid scarring or have a bleeding disorder. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or under dermatological care, check with your physician first.
Using Velora
Three steps. Prime: cleanse with the Density Shampoo and dry. Infuse: glide the applicator over thinning areas in slow, even passes. Activate: apply the Peptide Growth Serum so it travels through the fresh micro-channels to the follicle. The whole ritual takes about two minutes.
Twice a week. With micro-infusion, consistency matters far more than intensity — steady twice-weekly use gives the scalp time to recover and respond between sessions.
No. The tips are ultra-fine (0.5 mm) and only reach the outermost layer of the scalp. Most people describe it as a light tingling — comparable to a scalp massage. Mild, temporary redness afterward is normal and fades within a few hours.
Not at all. Velora works with your existing hair — simply part it to expose the thinning areas as you glide the applicator across the scalp.
Give the serum time to absorb — wait at least 4–6 hours (ideally overnight) before washing. On treatment days, skip harsh styling products, heat, and direct sun right after your session.
Whenever you’ll stay consistent. Many people prefer the evening so the serum can absorb overnight and any temporary redness settles before morning.
Device & hygiene
After each session, rinse the tip head under warm water, then soak or wipe it with 70% isopropyl alcohol and let it air-dry fully before storing it in its case. Good hygiene keeps every session safe and effective.
The tip heads are reusable with proper cleaning, but they’re single-user — never share your device. We recommend replacing the head about every 30 days (or sooner if the tips feel less smooth) to keep results consistent and hygienic.
The applicator body is built to last long-term. Only the tip heads and the serum are consumable — both are available as refills or through Subscribe & Save.
Results & timeline
Reduced shedding is often noticed within 4–6 weeks. Visible density typically appears between 90 and 120 days of consistent use, as new follicles complete their growth cycle. Results build gradually — the longer you keep the ritual, the more they compound.
Sometimes, yes. A mild early “reset” shed can happen as weaker hairs make way for stronger regrowth. It usually settles within the first few weeks and is a sign the follicle cycle is turning over.
Pattern thinning is ongoing, so like most hair-care routines, Velora works best as a habit. Continued use maintains your gains — think of it like fitness: you keep the results by keeping the routine.
Take a photo of the same area from the same angle, in the same lighting, once a month. Small week-to-week changes are hard to see, but month-over-month photos make progress obvious. Your kit includes a protocol card to help.
Safety & ingredients
Yes. Velora contains no finasteride, minoxidil, or other pharmaceuticals, so there are no systemic side effects. It’s a cosmetic device-and-serum system built around peptides and growth-supporting nutrients.
No. The ultra-fine tips only reach the outermost layer of the scalp and the micro-channels close on their own within hours. Used as directed, Velora doesn’t cause scarring.
The core actives are copper peptides (GHK-Cu) for follicle remodelling, adenosine to support the growth phase, and caffeine to counter androgenic stress at the follicle — alongside panthenol and niacinamide to condition the scalp. Each is chosen for published, peer-reviewed support.
Yes. Because the formula uses natural, active ingredients, small batch-to-batch differences in shade are normal and don’t affect potency or performance.
Velora is drug-free and generally complements other routines — and because micro-infusion improves absorption, it can make topicals more effective. To be safe, apply strong prescription topicals on non-infusion days, and check with your physician if you’re currently under dermatological care.
